Monica's Story
Life
I have two children, Alynna and D.J.
I still live in Zapata, Texas.
College
I graduated from Texas A & M International University in Laredo, Texas, on December 20, 1997.
My degree is Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.
Workplace
Through college, I worked as a substitute teacher for Zapata County I.S.D. all grade levels.

After that, I worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Zapata County for one (1) year and three (3) months.
Then, I became an Adult Probation Officer for Webb County CSCD and I am stationed at the satellite office in Zapata County. I became Supervisor within three (3) years and I still hold this position. I will complete seven (7) years with this Department in August 2007.
