Bio:
I relocated to the San Antonio area from Alpine, Texas, in December 2006, and currently reside in Floresville. Originally from Helotes, I graduated in 1993 from John Marshall HS. I attended Lakeview Baptist and Holy Spirit for elementary/ junior high (all 9 years).
God blessed me with two wonderful children- Lynette, who is 13, and Rico, age 8. Our after-hours activities revolve around animal care, family time, outdoor play, and good home cooked meals. Check out the ranch site at llamatoe org for an update
I moved to Alpine in 2000 at the age of 25, and graduated with a B.S. in Agricultural Business/ Business Administration from Sul Ross State University, where I was active in Student Government (Senator, Treasurer, President, Public Relations Officer), and was elected Chairman of the Texas State University System Student Advisory Board to the Board of Regents for the 2004-2005 school year. the Equestrian Team (Western Division IHSA), and was a member of Delta Tau Alpha, the National Agricultural Honors Society. I graduated with SGA honors in 2005. While at Sul Ross, I worked as the Program Coordinator for the Ambassadors, one of the most elite scholarship programs the University offered, working hand in hand with the recruiting department to increase enrollment and promote the University. Community service has always been a big part of my life, and I was a very active volunteer both in San Antonio and West Texas.
I worked for Congressman Henry Bonilla from March 2005 until December of 2006, as his representative in West Texas, and decided to relocate to San Antonio in the fall of 2006. I worked for St. Anthony Catholic HS as the Director of Development and Alumni Relations until September 2007, and am currently employed in the Intergovernmental Realtions Division of the San Antonio Housing Authority.***************************************************
