Monica's Story
Life
I got married in 1991 and have been married to the same man since then. That's 14 years. I have two beautiful children (14 & 10) and have mainly stayed home to take care of them. I am married to a Valley celebrity (at least I think so). My husband was elected as State Representative of District 40 in 2002. I have been managing his office since 1997 (He is an attorney in Edinburg). I love the type of law he practices and feel that I am making a difference in people's lives everyday. ate conventions for 9 years. My political views aside I am still striving to some day get my law degree and make his office mine. I have assisted my husband in several trials and am proud to say that we have a won several cases and established a good reputation.
For the last two years I have also been acting President for Dress for Success. It is a worldwide non-profit organization that assists low-income women by giving them the tools to become self-sufficient. I am proud that my management background has enable this organization to thrive.
