Monica's Story
Life
Hello! I guess your here because you want to know about where I've been and what I've done with myself after High School; well here it goes:
I got engaged to Johnny Wyland in September 1987, before he left for basic training (Air Force). John returned in December 1987 for 8 days, during which we were married(Dec 22nd). We left Pennsylvania for beautiful Charleston, S. Carolina! John's active duty kept us there for four years. While we were there I was self employed as a childcare provider for two military families. I also worked part time in retail.
In 1991, John got out of active duty and joined the reserves. So we moved back to Pennsylvania, where he's still serving our country.
In September 1994, we had our only child; a daughter, Shannon. After living in the local area for 8 years, John finally got a ...Expand for more
full time Federal Civilian position at the 911th base in Moon Township, Pittsburgh, PA so we then moved to Canonsburg, where we lived for 2 years. We looked into buying a home there but couldn't find anything we really liked and want to be a good school district as Shannon had begun school, so we decided to look where we currently live; Hopewell Twp, Beaver County. We bought our house (September 2001) and was moving when the 911th attack occurred.
So that is how we got where we are today!
I'm currently enrolled full time as a student. I look forward to completing my education and becoming a mammographer.
