Monica's Story

Life First I have to share with you the wonderful thing that happened to me on Tue. 30 Jan 2007. I found a e-mail on class mates.com that came from my niece who was given up for adoption in Oct 1972 She was able to find me because of my profile on classmates.com. We are going to meet on 14 Feb. 2007 in Las Vegas NV. she is living in ST George UT. She is a beautiful girl and I can hardly wait to meet her. I am glad that I have kept my membership. I should of up dated my bio a year ago but I kept putting it off. My husband and I are back in Bellevue NE. We did not like living in Vegas. After a little bit over 20 years my Mike decided it was time to retire from the Air Force and move back to the good life of the mid west. As of 1 Jan 2006 he was a civilian. He is working at Offutt Air Force Base doing the same thing he did now as he did in the Air Force. ( only now he can wear what he wants no more BDU"S ) He the body of airplanes when they have damage, he has a part time job doing body work on cars. My children are all grown up. Mathew is 32 still living in Norfolk NE he is a chef at a place called El Dorado Hills, Dathan will be 27 on 16 March 07 he also lives in Norfolk and works fast food. Taggart 31 lives in Lincoln and works for Huskvarna, Lana 24 is a 2nd LT in the Air Force she works at AFWA ( Air Force Weather Agency) and is stationed at Offutt with her wonderful husband Brian who is a physical therapy assistant in the Air Force. my step daughter Peggy Sue is 23 and lives in NY my step son Brent is 21 lives in Bellevue. Mike and I stopped at Giuliano’s, hadn’t been at Giuliano’s since 1972. Sandwiches or just as good now as they were back then.
Thought the wind generated wind mills were cool. We are just about to Bakersfield. Can’t wait to see my nephew Robby, his honey Jorge my niece Becki and her honey Steve and the rest of the family.
