Monty's Story

After high school, I attended LSU, married my college sweetheart and followed him in his military career. We are now retired and travel the country on our Harley. Love to camp, garden and quilt. I have two wonderful sons and two precious grandchildren. Would love to hear from my old friends and the S.C.U.B.A.S. and the yearbook staff. Where is Carol Wilkes? What ever happened to teachers Pat Barker, Margaret Short, Mrs. DeVillier and Mrs. Goodman? It is now July 2014, and I'm hoping to hear about plans for a 50th Reunion for us next year... if you hear something, please share with me! I now have FIVE Grands, and am so grateful they live nearby. Love watching them grow and change. My sons are wonderful fathers and I am so proud of them. My husband is a kind and generous man and a great partner. I feel lucky to have found him on a blind date my freshman year at LSU in Baton Rouge. Had been in touch with Wanda DeWailly, classmate and personal/family friend since forever, but lost touch when she moved last. Am still hoping to connect with Carol Wilkes from homeroom, and my LSU freshman year roommate. She pledged Chi Omega. I am a Delta Gamma. Carolyn Coppock, a year ahead of us, was my D.G. Big Sister.
