Morrisa's Story
Life
I have 2 step-daughters and LOVE them, like they were my own; I have watched them grow up since they were 3 & 5. They are 1yr 4 months apart. The oldest will be 22 on Dec. 10, 2007, and is working, wants to go to school to do hair; she is not in college any more, much to the dislike of me and her dad, as long as she is working, we are OK with it; the youngest will be 20 on Aug. 14, 2007, she (Sarah) graduates high school this year and go into the ARMY; we are pround of her. They are GREAT kids. I am proud of them. I have been married for 17 years; this September, to their Dad; my husband, Rudy. Monica was in the school band, she played the baratone sax for 3 yrs and in the 4th year, her senior year; she was the drum major, I am very proud of her because, when she was younger, she had asthma; she could not go out to run and play with her sister. She made up for it when she turned 13. Sarah has played soft ball since she was 7 yrs old, she has also played basketball, volleyball, soccer and even got in to boxing!!!! When she played volleyball for her school team she was a freshman, but they put her on the varsity team; she was that good at it. As you ...Expand for more
can tell I am proud of my 2 step daughters and I LOVE them as if they were my own. They are great kids. If I had it to do all over again, I would. Now they can come visit us in Honolulu, Hawaii; which is where we live now.
School
If I had to go through high school all over again, I would, I had great time, would not have missed for the world. Went to the Senior Prom, went to a couple of homecoming games, hung out with friends, went downtown one year for Thanksgiving and saw the school band in the parade; had a best friend on the Arrowettes drill team (Helen Martinez); had good friend that was cheerleader (Marie Lawson?). Nope would not have missed it for the world; I would do it all over again it I had to!!!!!
Workplace
In all the places I have worked, working in Honolulu, HI is the best place to be; despite the high cost of living, there are places to go, things to see, good places to eat and still find time to be at the beach to exercise, and to get some sun. I transferred from the Wal-Mart in Huntsville, TX to the one in Honolulu on Keeaumoku St by Ala Moana shopping center; which is suppose to be the biggest outdoor shopping mall in the world.
