Mort's Story
Life
1962 1965 Worked as a pipefitter and hvac technician through local 469. Married Karen Pinney.
1965 started a small recording studio dba Almosta Recording Co.
1967 Returned to work at Climate Control.
1970 1972 Marketed a small cooking appliance I invented (the Lectrofrank Hot Dogger)
1972 1977 Returned to work at Climate Control
1977 1979 Started my own air conditioning company (Temp Specs, Inc). Karen died in 1977 leaving me with two small children.

retail store (Pardners Frontier Mercantile) in Scottsdale Fashion Square.
1980 1983 Returned to work at Climate Control. Started working on my book (SINGLE'S POCKET GUIDE TO SURVIVAL).
1983 1984 Marketed my book giving lectures on single life.
1984 2001 Worked at the Arizona Republic as Building Systems Supervisor. Retired November, 2000 as Plant Manager for the Mesa production plant.
2001 to date - Acquired two rental cabins in Payson. Have a home in Avondale. I am recently divorced and have five grand children.
