Murielle Sendral's Story
Life
I live in Weatherford, have been married for 28+ years to Leonard. We have 3 wonderful daughters a dog and 8 boar goats. We live in a modest home on 15 acres and enjoy our children's activities and our family and friends. We are active in our church (St. Stephen Catholic)and are very proud of our children.
College
I was very active in different organizations... Some of the best years of my life, would do it over if I could, maybe slight changes as far as course of study choices. Developed some of the fondest relationships of my life. Wished I had kept up with friends better... These were my most formative years and helped me become who I am, had opportunity to travel, represent my school in other countries and learn the true meaning of patriotism thru my association with the Corp-Dettes and Army ROTC program. I went back to college to get my master's and joined Army National Guard at the same time, well... National Guard won and I went on active duty over 11 months and was not able to finish Master's program... (my only regret)... TCU one of my most enjoyable experiences ever! My oldest daughter, Michele, graduated from Texas A&M in 2008 and now teaches Pre-AP and AP Chemistry at Carter-Riverside High School in Fort Worth, TX. Katherine is a senior at TCU and will graduate August...Expand for more

Workplace
Currently, I work at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX and work as a Program Specialist in the College of Education, and truly enjoy it. Have made new friendships and rekindled some of the older ones...
Military
I was on active duty for a long period of time for a National Guard member, and enjoyed the discipline and being able to have joined in the "buddy" system with my younger sister, Regine. It helped us be more self assured in that we can handle any task at hand as long as we were assertive enough to ascertain our limitations. The ability to go to different states and the pride of wearing an uniform of the United States Armed Forces. My only regret was to have left the service prior to having dedicated at least 10 years, and the fact that neither one of us (my sister nor I) were US citizens at the time and missed out on the opportunity to become officers. The camaraderie was outstanding and the opportunity to learn about radio repair and learning to drive a 2-ton and 5-ton truck was exhilarating...
