Myla's Story
Life
After college, I worked part time in human services supporting adults with developmental disabilities and part-time counselig victims of sexual assualt and domestic violence. After seven years with both agencies, I burned out and went to graduate school.
Around that time, I met my husband, cousin of our classmate Scott Chalfin, who passed away recently. Scott's death is still a tough one to comprehend.

y after I received an MSW from Boston College, my husband and I moved to New York State. I am currently the Director of Parks & Recreation for the town in which we live. My husband and I are very involved in local and state politics. I enjoy spending time with family & friends, exploring the beautiful Adirondacks and creating new events, camps and other programs for my community. We became parents in September 2009.
