Myles's Story
Life
It took a long time for Myles to grow up and finally -- after many years of practicing -- he has become a husband and a father. He lives with his wife Carol, daughter Olivia age six, and step-daughter Emily age 16, in Whitby, Ont. Myles commutes to his 12+ years business on the Danforth, a thriving Apple Computer dealership, and plans to open a second location in Nov. '07. Along the way Myles picked up a BA in English and an MBA at York U. You might remember Myles as an artsy-fartsy in high school. As he got older he became more fartsy and less artsy. He has worked as a reporter for The Globe and Mail, as an accountant and forensic accountant, as a ...Expand for more
policy advisor to the Director General of the National Arts Centre, as Manager of Finance and Accounting for the Toronto Arts Council, Manager of Marketing for the McMichael Canadian Collection, and Vice-President of family-owned Story Investments Limited. Myles is also a published poet, historian, economist, critic, and has appeared frequently on radio and television on technology topics. He has appeared on Ralph Benmergui Live -- Ralph being another FHCI alumnus -- Metro Morning with Andy Barrie, and Radio Noon the call-in hour.
Carol and Myles recently purchased land in Revelstoke, B.C. and hope to build a second home there near beautiful Mount MacKenzie.
