Nakia's Story
Life
My life,well, I can't complain.
God keeps allowing me to see another day. I still got my head up trying to stay focused. I'm looking forward to achieving all the goals I have set and are still setting. Things are great right now. The best is yet to come!!
School
After I graduated, I went to Triton College. After a couple of years there, I received an Associates Degree in Arts. I then took a semester off. College
After successfully obtaining my A.A. in Liberal Arts and B.A. in Early Childhood Education, I will further my education to receive a M.A. in Reading and perhaps even a doctorate's degree.
Workplace
I've had various jobs ranging from cashiers to telemarketing to being a security guard at a high school while trying to attain my goals and graduate from college. Finally, I am in my dream career, being a teacher. God's purpose for my life is to be a teacher and it is so exciting doing something that I love which is working with young children.
