Nanci's Story
I attended Memorial Jr., followed by my sophmore year at Central High. Still living in Valley Stream I attended Houghton Academy (near Buffalo) for my junior and senior years. 1968 I attended Columbia University Nursing School. graduating with a BS in Nursing, 1971. Am now living in beautiful UT. 1999 I obtained a Master in Clinical Gerontology from Baylor U. and a Master of Divinity from Baylor's Seminary Truett. Presently I am a board certified Gerontological Nurse and a Fellow of the National Gerontological Nursing Association (NGNA) and work as a Geriatric Educator, educating staff throughout the state of UT on the care of the older adult (a privilege to say the least). In December '09 I will complete my Post-Masters Nurse Educator Certificate at the U of U, where I am adjunct faculy. My hobbies include: hiking, gourmet cooking, gardening, reading and traveling.
