Nancy's Story
Life
I've just sent my baby (Jake) off to college at Elmhurst College outside of Chicago. Wow, how the time flies! My husband John and I live in Plymouth, MI, (between Detroit and Ann Arbor)with daughter Katie (a jr. this year) and dog Daisy. I have a private piano studio in my home, teach piano at a local community college, and I play for a semi-professional community chorus, a local high school, and serve as associate director of music for our church. Our home is loaded with instruments -- drumsets, tubas and euphoniums, electric and acoustic stringed instruments of all kinds. Our family has been featured at a coffee house as well as at church, singing and playing.

m the U of I, then worked in Chicago in Employee Relations. Later, I married and moved to Phoenix, working in Employee Relations for an automotive parts retailer. We moved to Michigan right before Jake was born 19 years ago.
John is a system architect and CTO at Texas Instruments in Houston, managing the design of digital signal processing components. When he's not traveling, he's playing music.
Jake is a Freshman music/English double major at Elmhurst College; Katie is a H.S. junior, singing and doing well academically.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion! BTW: Cornerstone Music Festival should be happening around the same time near Bushnell. If you are into alternative music, its a great event to see.
