Nancy's Story
Well, I forgot that I registered on Classmates a couple of years ago. So, here is the update....It is now 2010. I continued my education a little more...still did not finish. However, I have a very nice job with a firm here on Long Island. I now hold the position of full charge bookkeeper. I love my boss and love what I do. I never thought Accounting would be something I would actually like.
My husband of 12 years and I have now separated...guess I was never meant to be "united" as one with another. My 2 sons and 2 daughters are doing very well. Ben, the oldest, is working as a machinist in Houston, Tx., Jake is a programmer for Carnegie Mellon, Janice will be graduating HS in 2011 and joining a dance company in NYC next month ...Expand for more
(OMG!... train at 6 AM every Saturday!)and Shari has reached the highest level in music with her piano and cello and dreams of attending Julliard (yeah...she has plenty of talent but they want the poor foreign kids from Asia - I heard they get all the grants) and we will never be able to afford that so SUNY will be a wonderful start for her.
My brothers and sisters are scattered all over the US...We hardly get do see one another but keep in touch.
I am in touch with Judy Stokes and lost touch with John Slayton a couple of years ago. I hav tried to reach out to Lauren Bennick but have not received a response.
So, please by all means, make contact if you wish. I would love to hear anybody!
