Nancy's Story
My story? ok . . . the abridged version goes something like this:
I am an only child, born, adopted and raised in Central California. I attended Shaffer Elementary school in Atwater, Tenaya Jr High in Merced and Merced High School. I attended California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, earning a BS in Foods and Nutrition. I later went back to school, earning my teaching credential and MA through Chapman University and National University.
I have quite a variety of work experiences, ranging from my most favorite, a Hostess at Disneyland, to retail services/management (Bullocks, Broadway, JW Robinsons, Gottschalks...Expand for more
and Macys) and finally education (Atwater High School, Buchanan High School, Rocky Ford School District and East Otero School District/La Junta High School.)
I've lived in several areas of California (Atwater, Merced, Pomona, San Dimas, Buena Park, West Covina, Monrovia, Modesto, Clovis) and am currently a fairly new resident of Colorado.
I have one child, Michael. My husband, Paul, is also from California, both of us Merced natives!
I enjoy traveling, taking photos, working in education, being a country girl on a ranch . . . life has been good and it looks like it will be a great road ahead as well.
