Life
After my dad died in April 1972, mom and I moved from Omaha to Des Moines, IA where I met and married my high school sweetheart, Danny (he uses his grown-up name,Dan now) Baker in the fall of 1975. I graduated in January 1975 from Lincoln HS in Des Moines. My plan was to graduate as a Junior from Millard, but Dad's death changed my plans, with our move. Dan and I now have 6 kids. d 6 mos. The two youngest are boys. Yes, they are all ours together ...everybody asks. I have worked for The Principal Financial Group, here in Dsm, IA since 01-78 as a Business Analyst, defining business needs for users to programmers. Never left the state of IA to live after getting married, but we did operate a small store in Burlington, IA for a short time over 20 years ago. Too small to live there long and too far from Des Moines, so we came back in 1977 and have been here ever since.
