Nancy's Story
Life
I am still doing medical transcription for a surgeon at Seattle Children's. I have also kept my Cosmetology License up and do haircuts and styles on a few people. 35 years! I have a small circle of family and family of choice that we choose to spend our free time with.
Natalie graduated from college and now lives in Silverdale. Stephanie started High School and is in Honors classes. I still miss Melanie every waking moment, yet knowing she is in heaven and knowing my parents and my best friend are with her now, does help. Duane and I enjoy just being at home and spending time together. He is now a Substitute Teacher and is currently doing a long term assignment with JROTC kids and loving it! members of RainierView Christian Church since 2006 and love our Church family. We now have 2 rescue doggies and 4 rescue kitties. We love to set on our porch swing and watch the birds. Hummingbirds and squirrels as well as enjoy all the beautiful flowers we have potted. Life is not about material things-it is about being genuine and having genuine people in our lives. God truly blesses us every day. At least that is how I feel.
We love to spend time in our back yard or on the deck, we have many BBQ's and do big bonfires and all the kids love to make smores and sleep in tents in our backyard. We call it the DeBruler KOA!!! LOL
We treasure our family and family of choice. Life is just too short to be anything but genuinely Happy and Truly Loved.
