Nancy's Story

Life After graduatuation I attended college and graduated in 1969. Eventually, I tired of civilian life and entered the Air Force as a weather observer. It was there that I met my husband, Sam. We had two children, Kelley and Tim. Kelley,age 39 and living in Louisiana, where her husband grew up... Tim age 38 graduated from Ole Miss in Computer Management. He is now working in Walmart Corporate Hdqts in Arkansas.. In 1989 we entered the ministry and lived in Mexico as missionaries. We have also pastored in Mississippi. In Sept. 2000, we moved to Killeen, Texas. February 2001 I started working at SallieMae as a Financial Aid Counselor. I love this job, and the company. UPDATE: During the fall of 2005, after 30 years of marriage, Sam decided to leave me, and move to Arizona. He sold our beautiful home and is now living in Mexico with his new, Mexican wife. a golf course near my son .. I enjoy visiting the Civil War Battlefields in this area, and they are plentiful. August of 2012, my daughter and he husband were blessed with twin daughters, Hannah and Sarah. They are just too adorable. Workplace I started with Spherion at SallieMae in Feb. 2001 and went full time in College Answer in May 2001. I loved my job and the people I work with. I am only 7 years from retirement, and plan to spend them all at SallieMae. After moving to Arkansas I took 5 months off, but am now working for Central Research, Inc. We are a small, disabled veteran owned company with a variety of positions. I have worked at locating deceased students death certificates to have their student loans forgiven and now share my time between Judgment Recovery and Incarcerations. March 31, 2012 I retired and now can do whatever I want!! It is now time to begin traveling and chilling.
