Nancy's Story
Life
Moved to Jacksonville, FL 1991,worked for a security company and the school dept as an alarm monitor,then got into debt collections,now supervisor for Fleet/Advanta collections here in Jax, married Richard Bennett 8/95, divorced in 2001. I came down with Transverse Myelitis in December, 2001 and was in the hospital for 4 months. I still use a wheelchair, and now am on Disability. Went to the country of Moldova in April, 2002 and got remarried (my husband was attending the International University in Chisineau Moldova.),met him through his brother. I am now, at the advanced age of 42 going to college to become an English teacher, thank you Mr. Keohane for all your help in 12th grade English and your support for my decision to go back to school!
Moved back to RI on Thanksgiving Day November 24, 2005. Mom and dad are getting older, and I want to spend as much time with them while I still have them to enjoy! Still working on my English education degree, however, it is too cold to do anything here! I will probably wait until the summer semester before continuing on. Will update again when I have more to rep...Expand for more

The 25th reunion plans are in full swing, and will be on Friday, November24th. Hope all of the class of 1981 will be attending. Also I will be soon single (yay!), and I couldn't be happier. I guess some of us are destined to remain single and free! I am still here in ole "Rhody". I haven't resumed college, not too much free time for now, but when something else worthwhile happens, I will update again. Nancy
College
I just started college May 3, 2004. I guess I am somewhat of a late bloomer! I am just tired of being disabled, so I am going to school to become an English teacher. Well, I haven't continued with my college education, that is on hold for now; as there is simply no time. Different doctors, tests, taking care of my parents, life is so much busier these days. Will post here again if and when I return to college. Nancy
Workplace
I used to work all the time; always two jobs at one time. However, since I became disabled, I am now going to school to get a bachelors degree in English Education so I can become an English teacher. Many thanks to Mr. Keohane for his confidence in me.
