Nancy's Story
I've been through many changes in my life. I married right out of High School. That lasted nine years, but I had 3 great kids. Went to business college and received a degree. Met my second husband at the beach in Mobile Al. That was a BIG mistake. He moved to Hutchinson and hated it. We moved to High Point, NC, where he was from. That marriage lasted 10 horrible years. Any way I'm now married for the third time, but this one has been a good one now for 13 years. I actually love it here. I'm 3 hours from the beach, Myrtle Beach is wonderful and 3 hours from the mountains, great skiing, so there is always something to do. Of course Nascar is HUGE here. my kids, I have a son, Kim that is 32. He is a radiologist and lives in Houston, TX, he has a daughter. My daughter Kay is 27 and has two children, a boy 10 and a girl 5. She is in real estate. My youngest son Marc is 24 and is the owner of an auto body repair shop. He and his wife are expecting their first child in September, a girl. I'm an account administrator for one of the biggest independently owned auto auctions in the southeast. I've been there for 7 years. Before that I worked in the wholesale end of the floral business. I did that for 11 years. My life is pretty good now. Still can't believe I am 50. Gosh that's seems so old!!! But I still feel like I'm 20, so I guess that's all that counts.
