Nancy's Story
Nancy's schools include Murray High School. Nancy later attended Minnesota (Psychology). I received a BA in Psychology (especially experimental and cognitive psychology). After spending half a year abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France in 1980,, studying French, I entered graduate school in Linguistics at the University of Minnesota. nishing my dissertation) and then in 1990 started an Assistant Professorship in LInguistics at Simon Fraser University in a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I am still a Professor of Linguistics and Cognitive Science there. I live in the West End of Vancouver near to the magnificent English Bay and Stanley Park, I am unmarried and childless, but have a lot of beloved students.I look forward to connecting with you at the 2014 40th class reunion.
