Life Graduated in 1998 from Iowa State w/BS in Biology and minor in mathematics. Finished PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (specifically ichthyology) at University of Kansas in 2003, where I was a Madison and Lila Self Graduate Fellow. Got married in July 2000. Biology at Johnson County Community College and an Adjunct Research Associate at the University of Kansas Natural History Museum and Biodiversity Research Center. I am currently working on several projects involving systematic ichthyology, including phylogeny of both the triggerfishes and the barracudas.
