Nancy's Story
I can't believe it will be 40 years this year since graduation! I graduated from Sewickley Valley School of Nursing and went on to work 24 years in Critical Care in Pittsburgh, Alabama, Florida and Arizona. I spent 5 years as a School Nurse on the Hopi Indian Reservation in Northeast Arizona. 2 more years were in Public Health in Florida. I retired in 2005 due to a medical disabil...Expand for more
ity and moved back to Arizona in October of 2009. My husband ( of 11 years) is a Math teacher on the Navajo Indian Reservation. Even though I have retired, I will work with the High School students and run the CNA Lab with the University of Utah. Nurses can not retire as long as they still have a breath and a pulse! Would love to hear from some of my friends from the Class Of 1970!
