Nancy's Story
Hi to all from the Academy. I was Nancy Nehe before my marriage. I graduated in 1954 and that summer my family moved to Lincoln where I attended UNL. I graduated with a degree in science education and in 1958 began teaching Junior high science and math in Bellevue Nebraska. I also met my husband, Bill Krueger in college. He also was an educator, finishing his career as principal of Westside Middle School in Omaha. Through the years I also taught at Westside and in a Catholic school until retirement. hes instrumental music and performs jazz in Lincoln. Our second is an engineer with Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee. Next son is Director of Catholic Social Services in Lindoln and our daughter teaches in the Weshside schools. All are married and we have twelve grandchildren ,ages four to twenty-three. Bill and I are enjoying retirement, boating, playing golf and traveling some. We have spent many of the past winters in Sun City, Arizona. That is pretty much my story. I'm older, shorter, wider and would love hearing from fellow classmates.
