Nancy's Story
Changed my name to Jaye Nilsson back when I was 18. ALWAYS hated the name Nancy for myself :) I live in Nanaimo, BC and love it! Always hated Regina and now that my parents are gone I very rarely, if ever, go back there. I retired at 55 and haven't regretted one day of it! No children of my own but my husband has two grown children, a boy and a girl. Just dogs! I've owned Salukis, a Scottish Deerhound, a 150 lb Akita/Malamute/Wolf, borzois, Malamute/Karelian Bear do...Expand for more
gs, and we bred our Malamute/Karelian girl to a Siberian husky so now we have a devil dog because we kept one of her puppies :) I am really into making cheese at home these days. Cheddars, swisses, Edam, Havarti, Feta and have developed one of my own... Eggnog Havarti-ish. So much fun! I still write short stories here and there - still remember Mr. Casswell talking to my parents over a story I wrote back in Grade 4 was it? Love my husband, love my dogs, love my life!
