Nancy's Story
I’m blessed as I am having a very good life. At the ripe young age of 46 I was able to retire and a few months later my husband, John, and I hit the open road in our 41' diesel pusher bus, “Time Bandit”, our only house to this day. We’re now in our 25th year of wandering North America as we enjoy visiting family and friends, exploring new areas and living new adventures. Our passions include boating, fishing, power walking, hiking, biking, and off-road jaunts in our Jeep Rubicon, “Rubi J”. Our “winter roost” is an Intracoastal Waterway lot in Port Isabel, TX, where we park amidst palms from about November to March each year.

, all married, which to us simply means five more kids, 14 grandkids ages 9 to 36 and two, soon-to-be three, great grandkids. Our family is very widely disbursed from UT to CO to MO (4 locations), MA, NC, FL (3 locations), and TX, such that our nomadic lifestyle works well for them and us.
We live in a beautiful country, all of which is worth seeing and experiencing, to the point that our “must see/do/revisit” list is now longer than ever. Our lifestyle isn’t for everyone but given our spread out family and always wanting to see what’s over the next hill or around the next bend, it suits us perfectly and the wanderlust remains near overpowering.
