Nancy's Story
Well, here goes! I now live in Toms River, NJ, just 4 miles from the Jersey shore. But, it's been an adventure getting here.
I finally made it back to college after my first marriage. I remarried in 1992 to a great guy I met while working my way through college. I graduated in 1994 from Fresno State with an accounting degree. Since then I have worked for several firms and now own my own.
My husband and I left California in 1996 for Kansas City MO. We spent a fun 2 years there getting to know the area and a different part of the country. After that short period of time, ...Expand for more
we were off to Rochester NY. It was one of the most beautiful areas of the country during the summer, but the winters were brutal. In 2004, my husband's work brought us to Toms River NJ and I finally decided to start my own CPA firm.
I enjoy what I do, mostly because I can dictate my own hours and enjoy time off when my husband has time off. We don't have any children, but we still spend a lot of time with our families in both Palm Springs, Ca and Las Vegas, NV. In the last couple of years we have visited both France and Italy. I think we are definitely living the life!
