Nancy's Story
Life
In 1965, I received my LPN from Cambridge, Maryland.
I received an RN degree in 1977 from Delaware Technical & Community College.
In October 1978 I moved to Atlanta, GA. to work at a large metropolitan hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital in high risk OB, and to continue my education in maternal-child health. In 1984, I completed a BSN, and in 1991, a Masters in Nursing. In 1994, I remarried, and comp...Expand for more
leted a post-graduate certificate as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in 1995.
For the past 23 years, I have continued to work at Grady and at present am in the OB/GYN department working with approximately 20 other Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. We work closely with the Emory University and Morehouse School of Medicine students and residents in caring for obstetric and gynecologic women.
