Nancy's Story
I now spend more time at school than I ever did when I was in High school. I'm a volunteer at my girls schools. I tell the principal that this is my payback for not going to HS like I should have. He laughs and says he's so happy that they get the rewards of my past. The schools have honored me with so many awards for all the help I give them I tell them I don't need to be rewarded because I love doing it... It is so rewarding to be able to help kids that act as if they know it all (just as i did when i was younger)you have to gain their trust and once you do that what a difference you see in them. They try to make you proud of them. I believe that's all they want is someone to make them feel Special. I'm very blessed b/c GOD knows how much I love helping people and he made it possible for me to raise my children and be able to volunteer full time at the schools. dent and in all Honors class's in HS don't know where she gets it from b/c I was a B/C student a even a D a few times. Ashley has 2 years left in HS then it's off to college she wants to be a pediatrician. She already has lots of colleges wanting her. My youngest daughter Alexis is an A/B student, now she is more like me she wants to know WHY to everything. You can't just tell her NO she needs a reason for everything. She loves dogs and wants to be a Vet when she goes to college but she has some years to go she is just finishing the 4th grade. Well that's what's happening in my life now. I was in a 10 year relationship with my daughters dad but I think we just grew a part he was not a people person at all and I'm 100% a people person. We get along better now that we are a part then we did together. That's just the way it goes sometime. I'm very happy and content with the way things are. I thank God for everything.
