Nancy Jones:  

I, Nancy Pitman now Jones was a Cambodian Linguist and worked at NSA. I Played on the women's "tri-service Softball, Basket Ball & Volley ball teams. I was a member of the ASA Honor Guard. I knew Joe Smith, Melvin Jones, who I've been married to for 31+ years, " Mommy & the Purple Rabbit " George Clough, Pat Mosher & Dutch to name a few. We sang together outside the Navy Quarter Deck or at the Dawn Rose country western bar on many a night & played cards in the Day Room Common Area of the Army, Navy barracks. The last of my assignment I spent at Indiantown Gap PA working with Cambodian refugees. I re-uped for Chinese Language an PCSd to Monterey CA. I got married in Dec 76 & spent most of my career on the Pacific rim. First in Misawa Japan, Ft Devens, Presidio Monterey, Torii Station, Okinawa, then Field Station Kunia, Hawaii. My son Ben was born in Hawaii & my Daughter Lilly was born at Ft Lewis, WA were I spent my last Seven years in service before retiring in Oct 92. We are now in Elizabeth City, NC were we attended Bible collage & graduated in May 2000. Melvin (we call him Mack) is a US Postal Letter Carrier & I'm currently just retired.
