Nancy's Story
To start, my real first name is Margaret. As I got older and aftermy mother died, I became the Marge.
I entered St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing and Radiologic Technology. Passed a National exam in Radiology and continued my employment with St. Mary's Hospital for 31 years. Moved on to the small town of Hastings, Michigan, where I continued eployment in Radiology. Education continued in Mammography and Computerized Technology. I worked at Pennock Hospital in Hastings for 10 years. A bad mistake to leave, but onto Borgess-Pipp Hospital in Plainwell and then to Allegan General Hospital i n Plainwell for 3 years. and what I put myself through,not what others did to me. I enjoyed my job, all 43 years. It was never work, but complete enjoyment of trying to help people. My only disappointments in life were the lives I was unable to help save. I learned late in life that only God can save and we are his intruments. I also forgot to play.
In hind site, I would have said I LOVE YOU MORE, played more and appreciated the God given beauties of this world sooner. But nothing would have changed the people I loved, worked with, or gone through this life with.
I think of classmates often and wished I would have stayed in touch with. God bless you all for being an important part of my life.
