Nancy's Story
Life
I have 2 children - Kari & Cody (both grown and on their own). We spend a considerable amount of time together and see each other at least once a week.
I coach junior bowling on Saturday mornings and volunteer for a number of the junior bowling tournaments and competitions. I bowl in multiple leagues and in at least one tournament a month. I had my first 700 series in May and also had my high game of 279. That was really fun. I've since had a 696 series.
When I'm not bowling or playing softball, I spend time in my yard and garden or playing on the computer - I love to chat with friends and if you ever want to play canasta or pinochle online - give me a shout and let's meet in a game room and play!
I begin most days at the gym in the pool. What a wonderful way to wake up. On the days I'm not in the pool, I'm doing weights.

ss of purchasing my first motorcycle (as an adult). My son got one in June and I got the bug too. Can't wait to get out on it and enjoy some time with him.
Workplace
I have worked for the state for 29 years - less than a year and I can begin to think about retirement. I'm sure that I won't, because I really do like my job.
I began working for the State or Oregon, Parks and Recreation Department in May of 1979 as a word processing specialist 1, in December 1980, went to work for Dept. of Admin Services (it was Executive Dept. at that time) as a word processing specialist 2, in 1984 changed positions within the division to a production control specialist, in 1995, again changed positions within the division and became a programmer, in February 1999, went to work for State Police as a systems analyst, and I'm still here working with crime statistics.
