Nancy's Story
I have lived in Houston, TX for 5 years, Hannibal, MO for 15, Lake Jackson, TX for 2 years, & Friendswood, TX for 1 year. I am recently divorce, and my girls are 31 & 29 years old! I am a grandma and a mother-in-law! YIPPEEE!
I am relieved to report that in just a few days I will celebrate 1 year cancer free! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August, 2010. After completing 2 rounds of chemo, surgery (for lump removal and bilateral reduction), and 30 days of radiation at MD Anderson in Houston, TX -- I returned to my roots in Versailles in 2011.

h the Hannibal Public Schools (working with teen moms and incarcerated moms) for 15 years. While in Texas this past few years, I honed my skills at a privately owned pack and ship store with a friend of mine!
Now I am the Coordinator, lone Parent Educator, clerical staff and chief bottle washer for the Parents As Teachers program in Bowling Green, MO. If you're trying to calculate things -- YES, I live in Versailles and travel 140 miles to Bowling Green weekly to do my job. I work 2-3 days a week and stay with friends in Hannibal!
