Nancy's Story
Life
Somehow I landed in North Carolina where I never imagined myself to be. It turned out to be a great place to build my photography business. I have learned a lot in my short 30 years of life and am so grateful for the life I am able to live. I live everyday like there is no tomorrow and know that I am truly blessed to have the opportunities that come my way. I live to travel and my camera is my third limb. My cross country travels have allowed me to fulfill my desire for exploration and adventure. I find spiritual harmony in the power of nature. Whether 14,700 feet in the Rockies of Colorado or 14,000 feet on top of Mauna Kea (the Goddess of Snow) in Hawaii...it's powerful! Nothing could be more beautiful.
North Carolina has been good to me although I do miss NY at times. Will probably move again someday, maybe Colorado, maybe California, we'll see where life takes me. I love Hawaii (Big Island) too but can't stay on an island too long. I like being isolated in nature but after awhile I really miss the conveniences on the mainland and yes the hustle and fast pace. There is so much beauty and so much adventure out there so if you haven't traveled enough or if you are just working too much and not finding enough time to play...STOP...make the time before it's too late. y favorite quote...(from Shawshank Redemtion)...Get Busy Living, or Get Busy Dying. I always try to remind myself LIFE is not a dress Rehearsal. You hear it all the time...LIFE IS SHORT. We are all on borrowed time. What are you doing with your time?
Hey Andy...I wish you and Lina all the happiness in the world. I believe that it is never too late to recreate ourselves and each morning I wake up to live another day, I have hope that I am one day closer to knowing you again and finding our place as friends. I will never give up that dream and look forward to a hug from the one who shared the journey with me for so many years.
I see several people who have signed in as a guest however I do not keep up with these sites. If you want to reach out and say hello contact me via Nancy Thomas Photo on FB.
