Nancy's Story

Sometimes life sucks. Became a widow in 2014....my son was murdered in 2021 in Washington State.....my daughter's dyin from cancer. But I have a total of 8 grand kids, 5 from my son and 3 from my daughter and 2 great grandchildren. They are the bright side of my life. Never miss that moment to say I love you, to give/get hugs, spend time with your family and talk bout your memories together cause you never know when that time will be gone. I still grieve, still cry. Rod was my better half and he's been gone now for almost 9 yrs after 34yrs of marriage. Patrick's been gone since 2021, my 1st born and only son, and Amie's time left is uncertain, my 2nd born and only daughter. I will be alone in my older yrs and I know that it'll be hard for me. I have fibromyalga and live most days in pain but I'm still trudgin th...Expand for more
ru life every day.... when I'm able to function "normally".....whatever normal is. Always remember that you never know when the final day/days of your life will take place so make sure to make many good memories and to give lots of love to your family members. Cause once you or someone else has left this earthly world you're left with only memories. No more phone calls, I love you, holiday wishes or just a call to say hi that I was thinkin bout you and wanted to hear your voice. When my son was murdered it hit like a Mac truck. The last time I seen his face, sat with him and talked and wrapped my arms round him for my hugs was in 2014 when he came home for his dad's funeral. So remember people, never, NEVER miss the chance to talk, spend time with, say I love you and get lots of hugs no matter how old you/they are.
