After school I worked as an EMT in Liberty County for a while them moved off to Houston. I worked at the Harris Co Sheriff's Dept for 8 years and as a paramedic part-time in Northshore. I met my husband at the Sheriffs Dept and moved him and his 2 boys back home to Liberty Co (Hardin). In 1992 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).... I actually got the "good news" the week we got home from our honeymoon. (Guess that was a clue how the marriage would turn out! ) But I'm still working 40+ hours a week and still walking although a little unsteady at times so I'm doing good. I had my daughter in 1995 and have been working at Baytown PD dispatching since 1996. At this time I am in the middle of my divorce and can't wait for it to be final.
