Nancy's Story
Life
My Spouse
My husband Frank and I met in sixth
grade at St. Charles School in Parma.
We dated in highschool and college. I
entered the HM Sisters in my junior year
of college. Frank never married. I
left the convent after 18 years, and
about a year after that, Frank and I
were reunited. We married in 1981.
My Kids
I have approximately 1,000 kids. Every

child I've ever taught is my kid in a
special way. It's been impossible to
keep track of everyone, but there are
many with whom I stay in touch. I'm a
"Grandma" many times, and I've even had
my "grandkids" in class a few years.
It's fun to teach the second generation
and drag out the old class pictures to
show them what their parents looked like
in fifth grade.
