Nancy's Story

Life I married my husband, Kevin, in 1988. (He passed away in April 2023.) We had Amanda in 1991, Thomas 1997 and Callista in 1998. I got my master’s in nursing in 1994 (finished a second master’s level certification in 1998) and my doctorate in 2011 and am a nurse practitioner. My husband was a retired music teacher. you! Workplace I'm a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. I was the Program Director for the Master's and Certificate Programs at University of Missouri- Kansas City (2021-2025) and also the Track Coordinator for the Family Nurse Practitioner track (2016-present). I practice one day a week at Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) Carthage clinic.
