Naomi's Story
I used to say a lot of stuff I regret now. I was pretty hateful towards a lot of people, thanks to the constant picking and teasing of the kids who enjoyed that stuff. I had super curly hair. My Mom couldn't afford to buy us new clothes, so, we didn't have a lot of the things other kids in my class did. It sucked, and some of my classmates made it worse by teasing me about being, "Poor". and "Dirty". Thanks a lot for scarring an innocent kid who couldn't help the circumstances.
After High School, I went to Marysville, and attended a year of Culinary courses at Yuba College. Came back to do a year of General Studies in Lake county. Before I could sign up to finish my degree, I got duped into getting in the Army. I spent my 21st birthday in Reception (Boot Camp, if you don't know what Reception means).

y son a few months later, and spent about 6 or 7 years there. Then, I got notice from the Army that I had to go back to Korea.
I went, and nothing good came of that trip. I found out my son wasn't doing so good with my sister. She didn't have the time to spend with him, and he was being neglected severely. I got severely injured walking on ice at a field problem, fell right on my arse, landing on a rock. At that time, I made the hard decision that I had to get out of the Army before any further damage was done to myself or my son.
So, now I sit in Kansas, looking for a job and a house. I'm applying for disability, as most of my applications get rejected because of the issues the Army has left me with. I like the people here though, they're nice, even though they drive like idiots lol.
It would be nice to know what has become of the folks I used to hang out with. I've only been able to contact April, who I've known since kindergarten, and Lisa, who I knew in Middle and High school.
