School I attended Mingo Central Elementary in first and second grade, Stark Elementary for 3 months of third grade, Lincoln Elementary the remainder of third grade and also fourth grade, Edgewood Middle School in Weirton, West Virginia for grades 5 through 9 (except for the last 3 weeks; those last 3 weeks at Springfield High School in Amsterdam, and grades 10 through 12 at Jefferson Union High School, where I graduated. The next 4 years were at The College of Steubenville, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and teaching certification. I taught for 2 years at Washington Elementary School in Steubenville and really loved it. I met my future husband, David, in high school - he graduated from Springfield High School and joined the Marines. When he got out of the Marines, he got a job at the Hoover Company in North Canton.
