Natalie's Story
Life
Life has definitely been a fascinating experience since high school. I got married very young and stayed married for 21 years to a marvelous man. I am now divorced and enjoying life on a different level. No children, though not for a lack of adoring them. I simply spoil other people's kids instead and then send them home to torture their parents. ;p I haven't kept up with many people from the h.s. but I would love to make contact with those I liked. *laugh* These days, I own a home in Pflugerville, which is not the hick town it was when we were growing up. :) Living life and appreciating it to the fullest. I can find pleasure sitting around a campfire with friends or being pampered in a 5-star hotel. As long as the people I care about are near, I am blessed. Life is an adventure. Let's get in touch and share the journey.
School
This thing wants me to disclose my biggest crush from high school? Geez! Ok. It was Tommy Colley in the reality age bracket and Mr. Scwartz (science teacher) in the, "Are you insane?", category. *laugh* I would definitely do it all over again because...Expand for more
I would do things right this time, academically speaking, while stilling having a blast. The happiest times I remember from h.s. days were football games, Chorale and meeting my best group of friends at bull creek on Friday nights. I still don't know how none of us caught fire with the bonfire blazes we set. ;p Now that I'm all grown up I wonder, "Where were the cops?". *laugh*
College
College was college. Having married so young, working full-time and having yet to secure the 4-year degree, I am surely a poster child for education and better decisions. My work brings me in contact with several high school districts across the state and I encourage teens to reach high for their education. Though success came, it was an uphill trek.
Workplace
I have worked 18 years for the same national company. I began in the service division, promoted through the ranks to district management for Texas and New Mexico and have finally found my calling in the marketing department. A more comfortable living than one can make in management with less headaches. I truly love my work.
