Workplace
I have been rewarded beyond any expectation. Through it all I've learned that it is a gift not a curse to be able to work. The real pay is not the money but the satisfaction of a job well done and the knowledge that it helped somebody. Finally comes the bonus, that with each task I continue to learn something.
Military
Just recently married, I was surrounded by many officers in ...Expand for more
the same stage of life. The "community" was different from anything I've experienced since. Unfortunately these friendships get overshadowed by new family, friends, and neighbors.
As a group we were growing and learning in many areas while building a healthy respect of patriotism. Sometimes the inefficiencies of the military were more apparent but no one ever doubted their love of country.
