Neil's Story
Life
Left London in 72, moved to BC. Married in 73, to Victoria Kent from Laurier. After 2 years I moved to the NWT, Yellowknife. Worked in the Correctional Center as a guard for 3 years. Then I became a carpenter. Divorced in 84. Had 4 children born here. Mike in 75, Melinda in 78, Eliott in 78, and Melissa in 80. Left for the Eastern Arctic in 84 (now Nunavut. Married in 85 to Mary Sevoga from Baker Lake (an Inuk). Lived in Hall Beach until 89, had my son Richard in 91, moved to Baker Lake in 91, then Iqaluit (Frobisher Bay) in 93-94. 4 Richard & I moved to Calgary, where I lived with my ex-wife Victoria & kids. Attended deVry for 2 years. Returned to carpentry after school. Re-married Victoria in 2001. Moved to Inuvik, NWT, in 2002.
I have 2 grandsons (3 & 9) and one granddaughter (7).
I have not kept in contact with any old friends, but I am interested in catching up with people from Laurier or Trafalgar in London.
July 2005 I am off on a Tahitian vacation, as well as a week long cruise from LA to Mexico. First big one since 89. Anyone want sand as a souveneer?
