Nellie's Story
Life
I moved from Decatur soon after graduation, and have lived in Texas for the majority of my adult life.
In 1996 my husband, son and I took a sabbatical from work for 3 years and sailed over 10,000 miles on our sailboat "Rainbow Chaser" in the Caribbean. We came back to the states so our son could go to a "land" HS, and pursue his interest in long distance running. He's graduated from college at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and now works in Austin, Texas.

to enjoy a less hectic lifestyle. I am now a glass artist and work primarily in fused glass.
My husband,Gene and I have moved to Columbia, Missouri after building our dream house in the country. Our plan is to be in Missouri in the summer and back on our sailboat in the Caribbean.
My mom and dad were my primary links to Decatur. My father is now dead, and my mom died in August of 2008.
