Nick's Story
I graduated from Forest Park High School in 1974, (find more from FPHS on face book) the first ever class to go all 4 years. Lynne Cherolis was in several of my classes and we had been dating since about freshman year. She went off to Bowling Green and I went to UC. Later she switched to Raymond Walters branch of UC studying Library science. Shortly after she graduated and started working we got married August 13, 1977. I finished up at UC and graduated with a meterials engineering degree in June of 1979 and immediately started to work for GE in Evendale there along I-75 in the engineering Materials Technology Lab. Lynne and I had 2 boys who are taller and smarter than both of us as usual. I was working at GE until 1995 primarily as a failure analysis engineer. I am there right after stuff breaks looking at the fractures. That is what I have been doiing at Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis since 1995. Lynne started out working life at Cincinnati Milacron and held various other part time jobs while the kids were young until joining borders in 1995 when we moved here. She worked at Borders book stores while they existed and is now the drivers registration person at a AAA store.

started school in Forest Park but finished up here. Lee went to Ball state and graduated in about 2005 as a graphic designer and he writes graphic novels and did a comic for awhile which he collected into 2 books. Then he launched another web comic and has 2 or 3 books with that one. Do a search for Better You Than Me or Little Guardians to see his work. Lee has been married for a couple years to his wife Samantha another artist and lives in his house on the East side of Indy. Andy was in band in high school here and the Carmel High School Marching Greyhounds won state and national championships his senior year. Andy went to U of Alabama in Tuscaloosa on a national metrit scholarship for a full ride there. One happy dad here. We went there for a coupe football games and tailgated with his friends. They won most of the time and were national champs his senior year. He was with the Million Dollar Band and was studying to teach music. He has now been the band director for two years at a high school in northern Indiana and sings with the Indiana Men's Chorus.
