Jimmie's Story
Well it is 2015 more friends gone now and it is just a matter of time when we will all be together again on the other side with all our friends and family.
Hello old friends I am updating this, It is May 2012 so now I am 65, did anyone of you ever think we would make it this far? Espically those running around wild like I use to? Yet here we are! everyone who is reading this and who lived through the 60" Life what a surprize huh? Wow never thought I would be here at this age and man, has it been a trip! I pray you all, are doing well, and life hasn't given you too many knocks? This is a picture of me Dec.2005.So add seven more years to it HA HA HA I hope all of you from the crazy 60's group of Livermore High and Granada High schools are doing well. We miss all those who have gone to the other side of life but hell what a wild life it was .
I haven't been back to Livermore since 1985.I went through on the way back to Spokane WA., where I have lived for the last 37 years. I remember those good old green and gold colors I sent and had a class ring made from Livermore High school so I wouldn't forget those years. I didn't get a class ring at the time in 1962 then KMART yes good old KMART started making rings from any high school class and I ordered mine it cost half what Jergonsen wanted everyone who did not get theirs should check it out?One last chance to catch up while you have time.. I am in the 1962-63 year book and also the 1964 book,maybe even in the 1965 book to? I don't remember if I took pictures that year or not ,because of the accident me n my n Mom getting hit by a cat my mother was killed and I dropped out for a while so I do not remember if I got back in time to have my 65 picture taken? I can't remember? Take a look at my mug and maybe some of you will remember me or not? I am digging out my old class book to match up your names to faces,still haven't found it!. NOW TO FIGURE OUT SCANNING the book of 1963?
I know we have all changed , but it is a great way to recall. I will try to get pictures up asap,some are on now with me and my brother Nicky,who passed away 2003 would have been the class of 1970. m a grade school buddy (after all these years ), then all these memories came running back? I have been married for over 41 years now to one lady who puts up with me. I lucked out,her name is Marian.
I have two boys one is 39 and the other is 36 this year, they are good guys. Grant Warren my first born in Livermore 1972 and Victor was born in Everette WA 1975
My wife and I have moved all over the place,even Hawaii 1971-72,then back to Pasadena CA from 73-75 then we moved to Spokane, Washington in 1976 and have been here for over thirty-six...... years.
I went to Spokane Community Collage, my wife and my youngest son Victor,both Graduated the same day together in 1997. I was short by three classes and decided to quit, going and opening a business,after all I was over 50 so, what's an AA degree going to do for me. I had a small business selling collectible card games for over seven years,now out of business thanks to the war n BUSH ,most of my business was counting on service men.
Back in the day I was always running around with people doing something,good and a little bad maybe.
I have always enjoyed being around others and having loads of fun. I hope some of you recall the good times and e mail me thanks for now Jim (AKA- Mother in law)
Today I am an ordained minister,yeah thats right a minister,Lets say the Lord found me.I ran from Him for years almost died a couple of times but He wanted me to do something so here I am-who knew?
Hope to see some of you for our 45 nd reunion Oct 5-7 which will be fun. SORRY DIDN'T MAKE the last one we will not all be around in a few more years SO, E MAIL if you can and let me know what is happening in your life. Update May 2012 -who would have guessed some of us would live this long? I always thought I wouldn't make it past 30, now here I am turning 65 wow. I lost my dearest loving cat of 16 years and our other cat died 3 months back he was 19 years old so, we had them a long time,a person can get really close to a pet huh? I have some how followed in the footsteps of me great and great great grandfather's becoming a minister and have done 33 weddings in the last few years-who would have ever guessed? Well I pray those of you left ,are doing well and someday we'll all meet on the other side. Take care. IT WAS GREAT TIME WE HAD IN THE 60'S
