Nicole's Story
I met my husband, Stephen, in college. He was an Architecture student at RPI while I was at St. Rose. We were married 3/00. My first son, Eric Stephen, was born 4/01. We moved from the Albany area to Nelliston so our children would be close to family. Our little miracle, Owen Frank, was born 6/03, and is doing well following 3 open heart surgeries. We also have 2 yappie little rat terriers, Stella & Marco. We spend a lot of time with our family, and having two little kids doesn't leave much time for anything else. We try to get to Baltimore/D.C. a few times a year to see the in-laws.

College
I attended The College of St. Rose, majoring in Elementary Education/Psychology. In 19...Expand for more
98 I graduated, and 8 days later I began graduate school. In '99 I completed my masters degree in Educational Psychology, and continued on to complete the Counseling program requirements as well in 2000. I recently began work toward my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at U.Albany.
Workplace
I am just starting a new faculty position at Hudson Valley C.C. teaching psychology. Until now I was teaching psychology and sociology at Herkimer CCC. And prior to that I was a District Supervisor for Berkshire Farm Center & Services for Youth, supervising foster care and prevention programs in 9 counties. At one time I taught Pre-K, was a substitute teacher, even worked in the education dept. for Planned Parenthood (nothing like talking about sex all day, and getting paid--legally).
