Nicole's Story
Okay here it is. I left school in Grade 12 and went to work for the WCB. I got married in November of 1974 and had a daughter a few months later. 2.5 years later my son was born. I now have 6 grand-kids with the hopes of more to come...yes 6. I divorced in 1988 and remarried in 1991. During that marriage I lived on the Queen Charlotte Islands for 16 years. I miss the ocean terribly as I am back in Edmonton.
I am in a new life long relationship with someone who loves me very much.
I am not working at this time due to medical reasons caused by an assault, a car accident and UGH, finally aging past 39. As of June 25-2013

Have spent the last 2 weeks recuperating from knee surgery. Back to work ion the 13th.
Not fun at all. Much pain and lots of bruises. But with luck my knee is fixed. Talking about moving to Belize when we retire. Sounds good to me...Expand for more
. Now, maybe the Honduras. I can take that one.
Grandchild number 6 is due at the end of August 2013.

February 21-2016
It's been awhile since I was in here. Went to our 40th reunion in October 2014. I was apprehensive at first but, my fears were unnecessary. I had a wonderful time and managed to make friends with a woman I had never hung out with throughout school. Patricia Scott is the greatest friend that I could possibly ask for. She is compassionate, funny, just the whole package. I am so glad she and I are friends.
I'm no longer working due to medical problems. YAY to aging. NOT
My man works up north for 2 weeks at a time putting in 12 hour shifts and I am so grateful to have found him. Especially when he is gone for those 2 weeks. lol
Makes the week together very special. Even if he sleeps through most of it.
