sician, I cannot stand bad singers or off-key whistling. So if you can't do it, don't even try. Favorite place to visit: NYC! You've got big city excitement, shopping and cheesy tourist stuff all rolled up into one amazing package. However, I also love going into Portland, especially southeast Portland. School Favorite teachers EVER: Elementary school: I remember that Mrs. Staley, my first grade teacher at Llewellyn, had this awesome dramatic play area in her classroom and every month it would be something different. One month it was the African savanna, the next it would be the store, then a hospital. It was so fun to play in there! Middle School: Mr. Canaday, my eighth grade science teacher. He had this obsession with Reeses... And it was totally funny how he made fun of other teachers in the school. I learned so much that year. High School: This one's a tie! Mr. Anderson is my favorite Canadian. He teaches advanced human bio at NHS and is so unbelievably funny. And he knows a lot about music - I was not expecting him to quiz me on the meanings of the metaphors in "American Pie" And to Mr. Tanner: DFD! Workplace Ummm...work is...work. I intern at the Newberg Graphic, the newspaper for the enormous city of Newberg, Oregon. I talk smack to my coworkers and play pranks on them. But boy it's fun.
